2012 marks the first year The Mellow Monkey is able to offer a partial scholarship for low-income students wishing to participate in our 200-hr Teacher's Training Program! 

Important to note:

• All scholarship applications and recipients will be kept confidential.
• Scholarships are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Due to limited funding, we can only grant a small number of scholarships per year.
• Please fill our our Training Application BEFORE submitting a Scholarship Application. Any scholarship application received without a training application will not be processed.
• You will be contacted with your scholarship status at the same time that your training application is processed.
• If you are granted a scholarship, you will receive an agreement to sign and submit before scholarship can be finalized.

Scholarship Amounts

We are able to offer 2 different scholarships for our September 2012 program:

Scholarship A

Up to 2 recipients will receive 15% off tuition

Scholarship B

Up to 2 recipients will receive 25% off tuition

How We Decide

All applications will be considered based on a number of factors. Income and family size play a big role, but so do factors like medical bills (and other bills), committment to your practice, ability to commit to our program, etc.  Since this opportunity is limited to so few students, it is important to us that our Scholarship students make the most of our program.  It is common for us to require an in-person interview before acceptance into our training program.

Remaining Balance

The remaining balance of tuition will be due at the same time as any other applicant, paid in full.
