Tamara Milliken I started practicing yoga when I turned 30, and fell in love with it. The more I
let it into my life, the more I wanted to share it with others. That's when I decided to become a
teacher. My wish is to forever be a student, sharing what I learn along the way!

Jessica Titchenal One of the constants in my life has always been yoga. Each day I find yet
another way to incorporate yoga into my life and truly make it a part of who I am. Through
teaching yoga, my goal is to offer students a chance to playfully explore the many ways yoga
can enrich their lives. I am humbled and thankful daily for the amazing people I've met through
yoga and I look forward to the many new faces to come! Namaste.
Sara Hawson I feel very grateful to be a part of this yoga/life journey. After teaching yoga in
Spokane Valley for several years, I had the opportunity to open The Mellow Monkey in the
summer of 2007. I'm here to continue learning from life and the people I'm blessed to share this
journey with.
Jackie Milla Teaching yoga is a dream come true for me. I have been practicing yoga since
1998 with some amazing instructors who showed me how to develop peace of mind, a healthy
body and a loving spirit. I look forward to meeting you and sharing what I have learned so that
you may enjoy a better quality of life through your yoga practice. Namaste'.

Anne Miller I have been practicing yoga (admittedly, on & off) since 1975. In 2004, I began
teaching a yoga class for seniors in Wenatchee that morphed into a class for people dealing with
cancer, thanks to a group of folks my husband and I were working with at a cancer support group.
Upon moving to Spokane in the summer of 2007, I was presented the opportunity to receive yoga
teacher training from Moonyeen Park. It was during this training that I knew for certain I wanted to
continue my yoga focus on helping people living with cancer.
As a breast cancer survivor for almost nine years, I understand issues related to cancer patients.
Thanks to my husband, I am aware of the needs of caregivers. And, given that I have friends and
family members who have or have had cancer, I know the “outsider” side, too.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share my love of yoga, and to learn so much from the people
who come to my classes. I hope to see you there, too. Peace, Anne

The Mellow Monkey has been blessed with an amazing team of yoga teachers. We all come from
different yoga backgrounds and have completed a variety of Yoga Alliance 200-hour training programs.
What we all have in common is the passion for sharing the gift of yoga in safe, inclusive classes that aim
toward encouraging your own personal journey while building the yoga community. We all look forward
to welcoming you into our yoga community!
